In the 1980's we used to do an annual Slow Melody Workshop where each bandmember drew lots and played a simple solo in front of the other members. We hadn't done one for a long time until this year ... 2009. A few were cool, some even volunteered for extra playing ... but most of us were a vibrating bundle of nerves. As you can see ... we failed to impress our adjudicators ... or even keep them awake!
